OMG I accidently deleted the database!

I accidentally deleted my database in the move to WordPress in the redesign.  The site is not yet complete, so bear with me as the blog continues to be developed. Since I deleted the database I  will have to re-upload my 200+ stories from my travels around the world (along with ALL of the photos!) so that may take a few weeks to get everything back up. Thanks to everyone at Pecha Kucha that enjoyed my speech here in Houston! Boo Yah.

    I didn’t have a back-up. I thought I was deleting my old database from way back in the day… and that just wasn’t the case. Bad Jenny.

    You know… I’m SO happy to be back on WordPress… the interface is so user friendly. Drupal was like pulling teeth to get anything done and it took hours to figure out how to do simple things. I hated it. Even if I have to reupload all of my stories, the change will be worth it.

    Hey Jenny – just found your site from Twitter, great new site you have here! back when we set up AsWeTravel.com I also made this same mistake – massive freak-out! :P now i make sure to auto backup the site every week :) lesson learned!

    love the design you have here as well – looking forward to following your travels.

    Thanks for visiting and commenting! The design isn’t quite finished yet, as you can tell, but my site is somewhat functional. I’ve been around for a while and had a readership, but lost a lot of them in the transition. Glad to be back on the map! :)
